Gaffers,
I just recieved my first issue of Gaff digital, that is freekin cool. It will not replace the hard copy, but a great way to browse the issue in your spare time.
Just a quick note about fishing Apalachee Bay in the Fall. I know a bunch of you are starting to stash your fishing gear, and grab the camo. I have already been there, thanks to an early Georgia dove season, but some of the best fishing of the year is upon us. September and October offer the best topwater trout fishing of the year. There are few places on earth better than the flats of the St Marks National Wildlife Refuge, watching a Fall sunset, throwing your favorIte topwater plug. Then BAM! Life is sweet. Those of us that live in North Florida are already feeling the temps change, and that includes water temps. As the water cools specks gets much more aggressive, couple that a Fall shrimp run, and look out. Find an out-going tide and pow! Watch the topwater baits fly. NOW GO FISH.
