The Gulf action was red hot on the Gags and Kingfish. We released 9 legal gags and a legal red grouper (in the Keys we are not allowed to keep grouper until May 1st). We landed some decent kingfish and lost a 40 plus pounder. The wind was out of the East at 18kts and seas were 2-4 feet out 30 miles....
Dean and Mark from PA are tearing up the reef fish today. They are catching gag grouper, red grouper, yellowtail snapper and mackerel. Later on we are going to try our luck on the deep wrecks. The wind is out of the North at 18kts and is suppose to calm down as the day goes on. Seas are running 2-3 but...
