The dolphin fishing has been red hot off Marathon. The bite has been from 12-15 miles out still. Working the birds has been the best thing. Trolling the rigged ballyhoo with the JCamm lures infront of them once again has been working on the larger fish. We have been using fresh flying fish behind the...
It is blowing 27kts out of the NNW and the seas are running 3 feet on the patch reefs off Marathon, Fl. Keys. The water was much clearer yesterday. I believe with that is because of the North wind is pushing the bay water through the 7 Mile Bridge. Today we have Bud, Cathy, and Dennis from Maryland....

The seas were high again today!! But on our way out to the Marathon Humps for tuna we decided to put out a high speed wahoo whacker. It was only 5 min. of trolling at 14 kts and we came across the 150' depth range and the clicker was ringing off! Up comes Reed's first wahoo!!! We made our way...
We battled the high seas today! It was 8-10 foot seas and the wind was blowing 27kts out of the SE. We first anchored on the reef and netted up some live ballyhoo. We tried some high speed trolling while looking for good conditions for sailfish. No bites on the wahoo whacker, but we did find a good area...

We were using a purple wahoo whacker and trolling 16kts. After we caught the wahoo we decided to find some calmer...

By Steve "Mazz" Mazzola It is a warm, tropical winter day and we're high-speed trolling aboard our boat the Venturesome . While zigzagging the Bimini ledge, I look back to check the lines and I see a big foamy wake with ten pink toenails in the foreground resting on the transom of the boat...
Hoo Are You? Fin the Know - By Capt. Chuck Simpson No, the title is not a typo and I am not referring to the song by the famous British rock band, though, this particular fish is probably just as colorful parading around offshore waters sporting silver and blue pajamas. But, incase you happen to wonder...
