I guess being born in Honolulu, Hawaii, was a sign of my predestination to become infatuated with any and everything to do with saltwater fishing. Maybe it was the heavy doses of salt-air I inhaled as an infant, maybe it was the time I spent living in Miami as a child, who knows?
Ultimately, after spending the majority of my childhood inland, somewhere in west Tennessee - I landed back in the Sunshine State as a young adult in the late 1980’s. This is when it happened; the rapid transformation into a saltwater angling enthusiast. Also, I rediscovered a passion for writing, which I had enjoyed while obtaining an education. And, at some point, I decided a captain’s license was needed, if I wanted to justify the number of hours I was spending on the water.
Well, I guess the rest is history. So, here I sit working for some of the best people in the world -“The GAFF Audience.”
